Paula Barbarán: “I would go back to El Calafate, once and a thousand times!”

Calafate was the Argentine destination I always wanted to visit. We traveled as a family, two adults and two girls, seven and two years old, and we had a great time. We chose to get to the Perito Moreno Glacier with the Seno de Mayo excursion: a very enjoyable boat trip, with very funny guides and walks suitable for children through dreamy trails where the flora and fauna of the area overflowed around us.

The landscapes we saw, the waterfalls and the trees, captivated us. Undoubtedly, it was the best option to get to the Park and finally arriving to that unique ice wall in the world. Pure nature, in all its splendor.

In addition to the tours to the National Park, we spent our days walking around downtown, visiting the Laguna Nimez reserve -we still remember the strong Patagonian wind that blew us away there- and enjoying the museums and local gastronomy. I would come back to El Calafate a thousand times!
